The Jay Grinder is a brand-new grinder from La Marzocco designed to make espresso easy. Everything about the Jay is built to streamline your workflow before, during, and after service. With fast, precision grinding and a small footprint, the Jay is perfect next to the Swan in busy coffee bars or as a standalone grinder in cafés, bakeries, and restaurants. The Jay’s burr chamber is tilted at 45º, allowing coffee to exit more easily and reducing coffee retention. The grinder’s flat 68-millimeter burrs are also mounted to the burr carrier through the back, eliminating cutouts for screws on the grinding face and increasing the overall grinding surface by nearly 15%. Most importantly, however, is what truly sets the Jay apart from other espresso grinders: a magnetic burr carrier that can be removed in just seconds.
